What Does this PAP Test Result Mean?

I have received PAP test report as follow can you help me the know the details.. Cytology Smear shows a predominance of superficial cell with sheets of normal endocervical cells, the background shows a moderate inflammatory infilterate made up of mainly Neutrophils Impression Smear appears to be satisfactory for evaluation. There appears to be a predominance of superficial cells coinciding with the proliferative phase of the menstrual cycle. Reactive cellular changes associated with a moderate inflammatory pathology showing a predominance of neutrophils are seen. Smear is negative for intraepithelial lesions or malignancy

Hello

PAP test results suggests signs of inflammation.There are predominant neutrophils which indicate infection/inflammation.

There are no signs of malignancy.

You may need course of antibiotics along with use of vaginal pessaries.

Doxycycline and metronidazole are usually prescribed.
Vaginal tablets containing secnidazole,clotrimazole are useful along with oral drugs.
You should consult your doctor.
You may need repeat pap after 1.5 - 2 months after the infection clears.
